Whilst walking my dog, I found it funny seeing him urinate over other dogs urinations, constantly chasing his claim to his own 'territory'. The marks were visual manifestations of biological instincts, but their demeanor felt silly. By repeating this motif, I draw attention to the cyclical nature of territorial behaviour and its almost absurd persistence.
